Seventh Heaven Pet Care Dog Training is a leading provider of Positive Reinforcement Dog Training services in the local area with wrap-around Dog Walking and Pet Sitting Services. Our Pet Care Specialists are trained to work with your dog using the same techniques as you trained your dog with! 

 

With a passion for animals and a dedication to their well-being, we have been serving the Northern Virginia community since 2019 and are now serving the Richmond area!

My name is Jenny Stevens, I am the Owner of Seventh Heaven Pet Care and a Certified Dog Trainer (CCDT) through CATCH! Canine Training Academy, committed to using Positive Reinforcement techniques to address behavioral issues, provide puppy training, and offer welcome home training for adopted dogs. I work with and hold classes at the Animal Behavior Wellness Center in Richmond, your resource for Fear Free Behavioral Veterinary care!

Prior to working with pets, I worked with families for ten years running an in-home daycare which catered to children with special needs. When my sons got older, I wanted to start something new, so I moved to pet care, having owned pets most of my life, it seemed like a good fit. It is amazing how many parallels there are between training dogs with Special needs and working with children with Special Needs! Through my training journey, I chose to focus on working with dogs that are dealing with issues related to fear, aggression, an inability to modulate their emotions appropriately and communicate their needs. I only use positive reinforcement techniques.
