Get your dog's reactivity under control with our 5 session reactivity training program from Seventh Heaven Pet Care Together, we'll learn the basics of reactivity and effective ways to manage your dog's reactive behavior. The course is structured so that the first two sessions will take place at your home where we will learn basic skills and work with a decoy dog. On the third session, we will meet at the Animal Behavior Wellness Center and work with my dogs. We may need additional centers at the Animal Behavior Wellness Center depending on the level of Reactivity, but once you are feeling more comfortable with being able to manage your dog, you are ready for Group Reactivity, where you can practice with your dog and different dogs in a controlled, safe environment! This course is required before you and your dog can participate in Group Reactivity or Reactivity Field Trips.

Our Welcome Home Class will help you and your dog with the adjustment to a new home. We will talk about typical issues and will have some socialization opportunities. You will learn some strategies for introducing your dog to other pets and helping her interact with members of your family and friend group. This is a great class to get ready for Training Foundations and will also help you to determine if there are behaviors that you need to address in a private class before enrolling in group classes.

This class is the backbone of all training going forward. There will be some review of concepts and skills from Puppy Class, but no worries, we will be leveling up! Since this is a private class, we can adjust the training sessions to add elements that you are either having trouble with or want to build into the session. Our Puppy Training and Socialization Class helps you get off to a great start with your new furry family member! Starting from the premise that our goal is for your dog to have freedom and agency, we will discuss setting limits while your dog is getting used to her new home, keeping a close eye on her, and starting as you want to have things go. This class offers rolling admission. You can start when you see an open slot and then take the five consecutive classes. This is a five session package. Each session is 45 minutes long. Also included, a virtual session where we can put together a personalized Management Plan. Be prepared to walk around your home! Loose Leash Walking and Manners class is a five session outdoor class designed for non-reactive dogs that just need to polish up their walking skills to deal with distractions and learn to approach people and other dogs politely. This class uses long line techniques and group drills to practice loose leash walking. We focus more on environmental rewards than treats after the initial stage of capturing attention in challenging situations. Prepare to have fun with your dog. Lessons will end with fun activities like tunneling and taking a dip in the doggy pool!

Much like our Puppy Class, Welcome Home Dog Training for Older dogs will help your work on issues including housebreaking, getting along with other pets in the home, jumping up, barking or any other behaviors that they may have picked up before they came to you. This class will help you build a bond with your new family member and make sure that their transition into your home is smooth!

This is a great way for you and your dog to practice generalizing skills by working on guided exercises where dog's walk by one another, approach one another, practice polite greetings, and have a safe space to retreat to if they get over threshold. All students will have graduated from Reactivity 1 and most from Reactivity 2. You can book the sessions whenever there is a space available.

This is a follow up for either Private or Group Training. I will reinforce skills that your dog has already learned with training exercises that you are familiar with. For this walk, we will start with 15 minutes of training exercises on skills that you choose. Then we will go for a nice, relaxing walk. When we come home we will drill skills and then play! Great physical and mental exercise!

This is one hour of private dog training using Positive Reinforcement methods with you and your training team. You decide what the goals are and we build a plan to reach those goals. These sessions can take place either at your home or at your local training center. There may also be field trips depending on what you would like to accomplish. These sessions are also great if you have been working on an issue and need either a refresher session or just a session to address a new or related issue. We will work out a training plan and you will have access to online resources developed for your case for six months.

In a hybrid dog training session, I will work with your dog at your home one-on-one for two sessions and then meet you for the third to show you how to cue the behaviors and give you tips on managing the behavior. You choose the skills and the level of proficiency you want from your dog and I will work towards that goal.

Private dog training Behavior sessions are custom designed to deal with training for Behavior issues such as aggression, fear, reactivity, separation anxiety, and other more complicated behavior issues. These issues can affect life inside and outside of your home and damage your relationship with your dog. Let me help you work through these issues using Positive Reinforcement techniques that will build your bond with your dog. These sessions will include access to online resources, chat and the ability to share and evaluate video in order to get to the root of an issue.
